Soapstone Turtle Carving

Parkland Garden Centre
You will be creating a cute little turtle that fits in your hand, and learn some basic techniques and the history of soapstone and its origin.
We will be using sanding and sculpting tools. Come enjoy the fun, family-friendly workshop! All ages welcome, but children must be at least 10 years old to join without a parent. In this 3-hour workshop, you will learn the basics of sculpture using tools, water, and sanding techniques.

A creative afternoon of wine glass painting!

The wine glasses will be cured and washable.
Specialized glass paint included and all art materials provided. All instructions - step-by-step demo and your choice of design as you customize your own glasswear!
*Hand wash recommended to preserve the look and make it last longer, but OK to be washed in a dishwasher too.
